As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has inaugurated a comprehensive educational project in Damietta Governorate aimed at supporting inclusive education. The inauguration was attended by notable figures, including Engineer Ahmed Mahmoud, Chairman of Mopco, Mr. Mohamed Hemam, Secretary General of Damietta Governorate, and various local officials, along with Ms. Evelyn Matta, Member of Parliament.
The initiative, executed in collaboration with Egypt's Fertilizers Production Company (Mopco) and Rahma Center for the Care and Rehabilitation of People with Special Needs, includes the establishment of a unit to support inclusive education. This unit features integrated facilities such as tools, equipment, and educational materials. The project also encompasses specialized training for specialists to provide necessary support for children with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
The project aims to offer comprehensive educational services at nominal prices to ensure sustainability, reflecting the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources' commitment to corporate social responsibility and the implementation of sustainable development goals under Egypt's Vision 2030.
