Schlumberger Signs students training agreements with 4 egyptian universities

Engineer Tariq Al-Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, stressed that the distinguished qualification of the human element and the development of young cadres comes at the forefront of the ministry’s priorities and constitutes a major axis in its ambitious program being implemented to develop and modernize the petroleum industry in Egypt and start with it after it achieved concrete success stories and positive results during recent years on Local, regional and international levels.
This came during the activities of signing bilateral agreements via video conferencing between Schlumberger Egypt and each of the University of Ain Shams and the American, German and British universities in Cairo in order to cooperate in providing a training program to qualify and train students of engineering and science colleges in these universities by employing the capabilities and expertise of Schlumberger in this field where The agreements were signed by Eng. Karim Badawi, CEO of Schlumberger Company in Egypt and the Eastern Mediterranean, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, Dr. Ehab Abdel Rahman, Academic President of the American University, Dr. Yasser Hijazi, President of the German University, and Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hamad, President of the British University.
