The 6th Middle East Instrumentation, Cybersecurity & Automation EXPO Concludes Successfully in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, UAE - September 18, 2025 - The 6th edition of the Middle East Instrumentation, Cybersecurity & Automation EXPO (MEICA EXPO 2025) concluded today at the prestigious Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, marking three days of groundbreaking discussions, immersive exercises, and transformative insights into the future of industrial operations.
Bringing together global and regional leaders from oil and gas, petrochemicals, heavy industries, utilities, and manufacturing, MEICA EXPO 2025 underscored the region’s commitment to secure, resilient, and digitally empowered industrial ecosystems.
Ahead of the official opening, the Executive Roundtable powered by OMNY convened senior executives to deliberate on “Building a Proactive & Resilient Cyber Strategy for Critical Infrastructure,” with an emphasis on IT/OT convergence, global cybersecurity standards, and digitalization as a cornerstone of industrial defense.
The event was officially welcomed by Technical Chairman Mr. Salem Al Blooshi, Manager, Industrial Maintenance (Instrumentation), at ADNOC Distribution, alongside distinguished industry representatives, sponsors, and partners. Delivering the keynote addresses, Gilles Loridon, President of ISA UAE Section, and Nasser A. Al-Arjani, Engineering Manager at Aramco, underscored the critical role of cybersecurity, automation, and instrumentation in driving efficient, secure, and innovative industrial operations as the Middle East accelerates its digital transformation journey.
A major highlight was the National OT Cyber Drill Exercise, conducted by the UAE Cybersecurity Council in collaboration with Reach Digital and Shieldworkz. Designed around real-world breach scenarios, the exercise provided a hands-on simulation of cyberattacks on operational technology environments, testing the preparedness of technical teams, executives, and crisis managers alike. The drill further reinforced the UAE’s pioneering role in setting benchmarks for industrial cybersecurity readiness.
Adding to the momentum, an MoU was signed between Reach Digital and Xona Systems, further strengthening regional collaboration in cybersecurity innovation.
