El Hamra Oil Company and IPR, in partnership with the Orman Association and the Matrouh Governorate, have initiated a project aimed at developing and improving the efficiency of several schools in El Alamein City.

This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources' (MoPMR) unified social responsibility strategy, which brings together national and international companies operating within the petroleum sector to serve and develop the local community and achieve sustainable development goals.

The project focuses on Al-Hanfish school for elementary education, El Alamein primary school, and El Alamein preparatory secondary school.

Development efforts, conducted in collaboration between El Hamra Oil Company and the Orman Association, include enhancing classroom efficiency, renovating bathrooms, concrete works, and interior and exterior painting.

Additionally, the schools have been equipped with 35 interactive smart whiteboards and a hologram device to enhance the educational process. Artificial turf football fields have been established, and a sports track has been prepared at Al-Hanfish and El Alamein schools for basic education.

Social responsibility initiatives are integral to the MoPMR's work strategy, emphasizing both societal and economic dimensions to achieve sustainable development goals.
