Engineer Tariq Al Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, announced that the Zohr field project represents a model in planning, implementing, following up and achieving world records, noting that the way forward is continuing according to the time plans planned to complete the project phases and placing them on the production map, praising the constructive cooperation between the oil sector and foreign partners In the project Eni, Bp, Rosneft and Mubadala, he also praised the community's participation in the project in Port Said Governorate, in the framework of the petroleum sector’s interest in contributing to societal development in the areas surrounding the petroleum projects.

 This came during the presidency of the Minister of Petroleum, the meeting of the General Assembly of the Petro shorouk Company to approve the budget for the fiscal year 2020/2021, in the presence of the geologist Ashraf Faraj, the first Undersecretary of the Ministry for Agreements and Exploration and Engineer Abed Ezz Al-Rijal, CEO of the Petroleum Authority and engineer Osama Al-Baqali, head of the Holding Company for Natural Gas and vice-presidents of IGAS and the Petroleum Authority for Financial Affairs And operations, exploration, production and control of foreign and joint companies.

 During the meeting, Engineer Atef Hassan, President of the company, reviewed what the company achieved during the last period of the fiscal year 2019/2020, indicating that gas production from the Zohr field rose to reach 2.7 billion cubic feet of gas in November 2019, as a result of accelerating the completion of the project, as it succeeded The company is placing 4 wells in the southern region on the production map, bringing the total production wells from the Zohr field to 14 wells, coinciding with the development of the new marine production line with a diameter of 30 inches in August 2019, indicating that it is expected to enter the fifteenth well on production next March. The current production capacity of the field reaches about 3 million Cubic feet per day.

 He added that the company developed an investment plan during the budget of the fiscal year 2020/2021 amounting to 408 million dollars to continue the implementation of exploratory and development activities in the Zohr region to sustain the progress of production rates and maintain the company's assets.

 On the side of Eng. Tariq Al-Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, chaired the meeting of the General Assembly of Belaim Petroleum Company to approve the planning budget for the fiscal year 2020/2001 and the revised budget for the year 2019/2020.

 During the meeting, Al-Mulla stressed the importance of continuing to intensify research, exploration and development work to increase Egypt's oil and gas production and reserves in order to sustain the provision and secure of the local market needs of petroleum products and natural gas, and to work on policies that reduce costs and expenses necessary for development and employment work while maintaining global standards In the areas of occupational safety and health and environmental preservation.

  Al-Mulla praised what PetroBel has achieved in the field of natural gas and crude oil production, and the work programs that it implements to accelerate the development of new projects on production in accordance with the specified timetables, and achieve the highest occupational safety and health standards in the projects that it implements.

 For his part, Eng. Atef Hassan, President of Petrobel Company, explained that exploration activities have been intensified in the Nidoco area, and the new well (North Lot-1) has been linked to the facilitation network in preparation for placing it on production, and the implementation of the project to extend the 18-inch offshore line from the offshore platform PP-2 to The treatment plant in the petrico region, in addition to the project to increase the capacity of crude oil tanks, and a new plant (Sidra 2020) was designed and constructed to accommodate production quantities from the new discovery (Sidra 36), indicating the company's success in reaching the highest daily production rate of crude oil It reached 72 thousand barrels, and it was not achieved three years ago.

 He added that the company set a proposed budget for 2020/2021 of about 812 million dollars in order to continue to pump more investments to intensify exploration and development activities in the company's various work areas, noting that the company is targeting an ambitious production plan of crude oil to maintain production rates and counter the natural decrease in production Wells by continuing the periodic maintenance work for wells and production platforms in all areas of the company.
