Minister Tarek El Molla Mourns Passing of Former EGPC Chairman Abdel-Khaleq Ayad

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, expressed deep sadness over the passing of the late Honorable Abdel-Khaleq Ayad, Chairman of the Senate Energy Committee and former Chairman of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), who passed away on May 2nd.

The minister praised the deceased as one of the pioneers in the Egyptian oil and gas sector, highlighting his dedicated service to the country until his last moments through his parliamentary position in the Senate.

Minister El Molla extended his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to Ayad's family and relatives, praying for God Almighty to envelop him with His vast mercy, grant him a place in His spacious gardens, and provide his family and relatives with patience and solace.
