Ministry of Petroleum Boosts Healthcare with New CT Scan Room in Alexandria
Published on : 2024-04-28
In line with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ (MoPMR) social responsibility strategy, a new CT scan room equipped with state-of-the-art technology was inaugurated at the main university hospital affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University. The room was established through collaboration between the Alexandria National Refining and Petrochemicals Company (ANRPC), the Abu Qir Fertilizers Company (AFC), and the University in Alexandria Governorate.
ANRPC, under the guidance of the Supreme Committee for Social Responsibility in the Petroleum Sector, conducted a needs assessment to enhance medical service provision at the Main University Hospital in Alexandria. Subsequently, a project was initiated to outfit the CT scan room and provide a CT scan machine with cutting-edge components, contributing to the hospital's radiology unit efficiency.
This initiative supports the state and the Ministry of Health and Population's efforts in delivering quality medical services to the community. These endeavors align with MoPMR's commitment to societal welfare and its leadership role in sustainable development within the petroleum sector.
