Petrojet Achieves EGP 54.6 Billion in Revenues for 2023

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla commended Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Company (Petrojet) as a symbol of national pride for its significant contribution to vital projects, both domestically and internationally, through the export of specialized petroleum equipment branded with the "Made in Egypt" label. El Molla expressed his admiration during the General Assembly meeting convened to endorse Petrojet's achievements for the year 2023.

Petrojet's Chairman, Waleed Lotfy, highlighted the company's remarkable success in achieving unprecedented business growth. In 2023, Petrojet's activity revenues surged to EGP 54.6 billion, marking a 36% increase over the previous year's revenues. The company also secured an unparalleled volume of new contracts and grants totaling EGP 139 billion, representing a 12% rise from 2022. These contracts encompass a diverse portfolio, with 74% dedicated to domestic projects and 26% to international ventures. Furthermore, 24% of the contracts pertain to non-petroleum projects, showcasing Petrojet's versatility.

Petrojet's strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and quality were also highlighted by Lotfy. These initiatives include obtaining global accreditation ISO 9001 for designing and producing ready-mixed concrete, as well as incorporating Pumping Unit Structure manufacturing into approved workshop operations. Additionally, Petrojet successfully completed its digital transformation plan, implementing various measures such as activating six core models within the SAP program and expanding SAP user capacity to 4,200 individuals, while also ensuring seamless integration across the company's processes and activities.

El Molla emphasized the oil and gas sector's reliance on Petrojet as a robust, forward-thinking entity with a competent leadership and dedicated workforce, enabling swift project execution and delivery.
