Participation of Denisse Abudinen in Equality in Energy conference at EGYPS 2022

Denisse Abudinén Butto, CEO ENAP Sipetrol and General Manager ENAP Sipetrol Egypt branch participated in Equality in Energy conference at Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS) at a panel discussion named “Being responsible employers: the significance of shifting from empowerment to equality and inclusive diversity in the energy industry” where a key discussion took place between leaders from bp, Apache Corporation, Capricorn and Technip Energies to discuss and understand the importance of addressing broader socio-economic issues in the energy value chain to provide equal opportunities through equality and non-discrimination. Despite that the energy sector has been tagged as a male-dominated industry, yet the sector has seen a significant adoption of corporate policies concerning equality, inclusion, and diversity to create a happier workforce. 

During the discussion, Denisse highlighted that in ENAP Sipetrol, we strongly believe in Equal Employment Opportunity. Accordingly, ENAP Sipetrol has assumed the commitment to promote a culture of Diversity and Inclusion, rejecting discriminatory acts and favoring respectful treatment in all our operations. To this end, since 2018, A Policy on Gender Equality and Reconciliation of Work, Family and Personal Life was presented to the entire company which aim is to eliminate all types of discrimination between men and women.
