Schlumberger and ENAP Egypt signs MoU for E&P digital solutions

Cairo, Wednesday 27-Oct-2021 - Schlumberger and ENAP celebrate the signature of an MoU for mutual cooperation in the field of Oil & Gas industry seeking growth for ENAP business through new blocks in Egypt across integrated digitally enabled solutions.

ENAP is the Chilean State company specialized in oil and gas exploration and production with aspiration to develop/manage oil and gas assets in Egypt to double current production baseline, ENAP was an early adopter in Q1 2021 for DELFI cognitive E&P environment to enable materializing their business growth strategy aiming expansion plan in new assets through integration solutions.

Schlumberger is a technology company that partners with customers to access energy through providing domain expertise, project management and digital enablement to conduct multidisciplinary energy operations and services spanning through reservoir characterization, drilling services and well intervention to optimize field production & maximize the life of oil and gas fields.

The MoU was signed by Sherif Bayoumy, Managing Director, Egypt & East Mediterranean GeoUnit, Schlumberger and Denisse Abudinén Butto, CEO ENAP Sipetrol and General Manager ENAP Sipetrol Egypt branch and witnessed by Lyndsey Lomas, VP Digital Subsurface Solutions – MENA, Schlumberger.
