Snam Explore Hydrogen Production Cooperation with Egypt

Prime Minister, Moustafa Madbouly، and Minister of Petroleum, Tarek El Molla, met Italy’s Snam Energy Company’s CEO, Marco Alvera, and the accompanying delegation to discuss boosting cooperation between the two sides, the Egyptian Cabinet announced.


During the meeting, the two parties discussed the potential cooperation with Snam in the green transformation field, especially in the hydrogen production area.


Madbouly said that he welcomes any serious suggestions regarding the energy field, especially in light of Egypt’s plans to become a regional energy hub.


The meeting was attended by Magdy Galal, Chairman of Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), Ahmed Elsewedy, Chairman of Elsewedy Electric , and Giampaolo Cantini, Italy’s Ambassador to Egypt.
