Enppi is one of the top ten oil and gas general contracting companies in the Middle East

Enppi company has achieved a leap in 2020 with a 50% increase in its contracts, compared to 2019, despite the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, a relevant press release has reported.


The announcement was made by Enppi Chairman, Ashraf Bahaa, during the company’s general assembly meeting via videoconference that was chaired by the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, to approve the company’s achievements in 2020.


According to Bahaa, the company contributed to several important projects inside Egypt such as the high-octane gasoline complex in Assiut, the refineries’ expansion of Midor, and Assiut National Oil Processing Company (ANOPC) for gasoline and diesel production. Outside Egypt, the company carried out projects such as the natural gas compressor project in UAE, the northern Jordan natural gas pipeline project, in addition to other major projects with Aramco.


Enppi was also able to maintain its position among the top ten general contracting companies in the oil and gas field in the Middle East, according to MEED classification, which is specialized in market analyses. It is also the only Egyptian company on the list of the top 150 international companies in the field of engineering designs as it maintained the 138 position in the classification of the US ENR magazine specialized in global analyses and news about the construction industry.


Bahaa also referred to Enppi’s effort to increase cooperation with international companies to localize technology through several agreements with major international companies such as Bechtel. He also highlighted the company’s efforts to develop the employees through programs designed for preparing leaders.


For his part, El Molla praised the efficiency of Enppi’s human cadres, referring to it as the engineering arm of the petroleum sector. He also highlighted the company’s effective role in implementing several projects inside and outside Egypt.
