Published on : 2025-07-28

In line with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy to boost local hydrocarbon production, Agiba Petroleum has successfully brought the Arcadia-28 well onstream, targeting the Masajid Carbonate formation.

The well, acidized on July 19, 2025, using advanced techniques similar to those applied in the Iris well, is now producing at a rate of 4,100 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

This achievement marks a strong addition to Agiba’s daily output and reflects the success of the company’s ongoing development efforts in its concession areas.
