ETHYDCO Launches “Your Safety Matters 2025” to Reinforce Traffic Safety Culture

As part of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategic pillar on promoting occupational health and safety, The Egyptian Ethylene & Derivatives Company - ETHYDCO has launched its 2025 safety campaign “Your Safety Matters”, under the patronage of Chemist Hisham Riyad, Chairman and Managing Director.

The campaign was launched at the polyethylene loading area, with active participation from department heads, employees, drivers, and contractors. It aims to strengthen safe driving practices and minimize traffic-related risks, supporting the company’s strategic goal of zero accidents.

Chemist Hisham Riyad emphasized that safety remains a top priority at ETHYDCO, stating that protecting lives and assets is a shared responsibility. He highlighted the importance of safe driving, especially by drivers, and adherence to traffic regulations and scheduled vehicle inspections.

The 2025 edition builds on the success of previous initiatives, particularly the “Driving Hazards 2024” campaign, marking a continued commitment to fostering a safe and sustainable work environment.
