Eng. Karim Badawi, Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, visited the China ZhenHua Oil booth at the ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference in the United Arab Emirates. China ZhenHua Oil is the parent company of North Petroleum International Company (NPIC), which operates in Egypt. 

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Lu Lize, President of China ZhenHua Oil Co., Ltd., Eng. Sun Bao, Country Manager of North Petroleum International Company S.A.; and Eng. Moataz Atef, Undersecretary for Technical Office and official spokesperson for the Ministry of Petroleum.

The discussions centered on ZhenHua Oil’s global projects, with a special emphasis on identifying opportunities to expand its investments in Egypt across sectors such as oil, gas, LNG, and clean energy. The meeting underscored the robust strategic partnership between Egypt and China, highlighting the role of this collaboration in fostering economic growth and bilateral cooperation.
