Petroleum Sector Signs CSR Agreement for New Technical School in Matrouh

In alignment with the petroleum sector's corporate social responsibility strategy and the ongoing partnership between the sector and civil society organizations, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has signed a contract for the Applied Technological School project in El Alamein, Matrouh Governorate. This initiative is a collaborative effort involving Agiba Petroleum Company, Eni, Lukoil, and the Swdy Electric Foundation.
The contract was signed by Eng. Tharwat El-Gendy, Chairman of Agiba Petroleum, and Hanan El-Rihani, Board Member of the Swdy Electric Foundation, with the presence of Fanny Leonello, General Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Eni. Also in attendance were representatives from the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation, and Agiba Petroleum.
The Applied Technological School project in El Alamein is part of the Ministry’s corporate social responsibility programs. It aims to advance technical education at the secondary level by providing students with essential technical and vocational skills for future employment. The project is expected to produce approximately 750 graduates from Matrouh Governorate over the next three years.
