Assiut Hydrocracking Complex Set for Pre-Commissioning Phase

Published on : 2024-07-22
In preparation for the pre-commissioning phase of the Assiut Hydrocracking Complex, managed by the Assiut National Oil Processing Company (ANOPC), Engineer Hossam Asaad, Chairman of EPROM (the company responsible for the operation and maintenance of the complex), conducted a comprehensive inspection visit to the project site. He was accompanied by Engineer Mohamed Badr, Chairman of ANOPC.

During the visit, specialists from both companies meticulously inspected the project's various operational units, utility systems, and ANOPC's facilities. The primary objective was to finalize the strategic plan for pre-operational testing and to initiate the project's initial operations.

This significant project aims to meet the hydrocracking needs of Upper Egypt's governorates, thereby reducing reliance on hydrocracking transportation from Northern Egypt.
