Shell Egypt Appoints Khaled Gad as Managing Director of Rashpetco

Shell Egypt has announced the appointment of Khaled Gad as the new General Manager and Managing Director of the joint venture Rashpetco, effective June 1, 2024. Gad brings 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with expertise in Production Operations, Subsurface, LNG, Development Projects, and Asset Management across the Mediterranean, Western Desert, and North Sea.

Gad has held various leadership roles and, since 2021, has served as Assets Manager for Shell’s joint ventures Rashpetco and Egyptian LNG. He holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering and has completed MBA modules in Finance, Accounting, and Marketing at Herriot Watt University.
