Al-Mulla Announces Strategic Leadership Appointments in Egypt's Energy Sector

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, has announced a series of administrative changes within the petroleum sector, aimed at bolstering key competencies to meet future objectives and facilitating the exchange of expertise. These changes involve the appointment, assignment, and transfer of several high-ranking positions within various companies.

Yassin Mohamed Ahmed Yassin has been appointed as the Executive Managing Director of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), effective March 29th, 2024.

Osama Othman Abdel Fattah El Samanoudi has been designated as the Vice President of EGAS for Operations & Networks and appointed as a member of the Board of Directors, starting March 29th, 2024.

Mohamed El-Sayed Sobhi Mansour Amer has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amreya Petroleum Refining Company (APRC), effective May 23rd, 2024.

Mohamed Omar Ibrahim Barakat has been assigned the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene Company (Elab).
