El Molla Holds High-Level Talks with ExxonMobil Over Latest Investments

At ADIPEC 2023, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla held talks with Vice President-Head of Global Exploration at ExxonMobil John Ardill to discuss the company’s latest investments in its Mediterranean fields at offshore North Maraqia in addition to the Cairo and Masry regions assigned to the company recently.

They also discussed the needed efforts to speedily start operation at these areas as well as the keenness of ExxonMobil to expand its exploratory operations and awarding new areas through international bid rounds. 

For his part, Ardill expressed his company’s commitment to continue work and expand its projects in Egypt during the coming period and praised the support provided by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
