Schneider Electric carries out digital transformation plans in Egypt’s petroleum sector

Schneider Electric is currently carrying out digital transformation plans in the Egyptian petroleum sector, according to a statement by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

The plans come within the framework of a project to develop the petroleum sector, which will contribute to boosting the efficiency of operations.

These plans were discussed by Minister of Petroleum Tarek El-Molla and President for the Middle East and Africa Caspar Herzberg during their meeting in the US, on the sidelines of the CERAWeek 2023 conference.

During the meeting, both parties mulled over ways to reinforce cooperation in the fields of digital transformation in the oil and gas sector.

The meeting also tackled new potential cooperation in training human cadres through a human development program in collaboration with partners as per the highest global standards.
