Ataqa’s profits near EGP 235m in 2022

Mubasher: Misr National Steel (Ataqa) generated net profits after tax worth EGP 234.72 million in 2022, an annual surge from EGP 100.44 million.

The sales amounted to EGP 2.48 billion during the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2022, up from EGP 2.36 billion a year earlier, according to the income statements.

Earnings per share (EPS) hiked to EGP 0.19 in 2022 from EGP 0.08 in 2021, whereas the total assets increased to EGP 1.79 billion EGP 1.36 billion.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, Ataqa witnessed a 75.71% leap in net profit to EGP 115.50 million, compared to EGP 65.73 million in 9M-21.
