Al-Mulla indicated during the meeting that the political leadership welcomed the American request to join the East Mediterranean Gas Forum as a permanent observer, in addition to welcoming member states to that, praising the support of the United States of America to this forum and the efforts of Egypt and the Eastern Mediterranean countries in establishing an integrated gas market in the region that benefits all parties and Supports Egypt's role as a regional energy hub.
