El-Molla Discusses Joint Projects, COP 27 with Wintershall Dea at ADIPEC

Wintershall Dea Chief Operating Officer Dawn Summers and Senior Vice President & Managing Director, BU Egypt, Sameh Sabry, met with His Excellency, Engineer Tarek El Molla, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum, at ADIPEC 2021.

They discussed Wintershall Dea’s long-standing commitment as a reliable partner and investor in Egypt, as well as the bright outlook for Egypt as a regional gas hub.

In addition, Summers and Tarek El Molla discussed Wintershall Dea’s Energy Transition Pathway in the context of the recent COP26 and COP27 which will be held in Cairo.

Wintershall Dea, Europe’s leading independent gas and oil company, is active in the country, producing oil in the Gulf of Suez, gas in the onshore Nile Delta at Disouq, and as a partner to BP for the offshore West Nile Delta gas project. In addition, Wintershall Dea is excited to be exploring again in Egypt, at East Damanhour near to Disouq.
