Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El Molla has selected a new head for the ministry’s Central Department of Projects and appointed several new chairmen for the government’s petroleum companies, according to a ministerial statement.

The move aims to support the oil and gas sector with those who have the right qualities to help achieve future goals and exchange expertise.

The new appointees are:

Ahmed Mohamed El Kalifa Ahmed, Head of the Central Department for Projects at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

Ashraf Bahaa El Din Abu El Fotouh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director for the Egyptian Maintenance Company (San Masr).

Mohamed Abdel Aziz Ismail, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director for the Engineering for the Petroleum & Process Industries (ENPPI).

Ehab Ragai Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director for Tharwa Petroleum Company.

Hossam El Din Zaki El Desouky, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director for the Pharaonic Petroleum Company.

Khaled Mounir Salam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director for Dara Petroleum Company (Petrodara).

Essam El Din Al Ajrawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director for El Alamein Petroleum Company.
