He highlighted the company's significant and prominent contribution, especially during challenging times, underscoring Eni's commitment to supporting Egypt's efforts in developing its energy resources.

Badawi emphasized the petroleum sector's aspiration for further shared successes with Eni, with a stronger focus on increasing production and developing oil and gas resources, as these are top priorities for Egypt's economy and energy sector. He noted that Eni's modern technologies in exploration and production have been crucial, contributing to significant discoveries such as the Zohr field.

The minister also stressed the importance of collaborating with Eni on energy efficiency projects, leveraging renewable energy resources, and reducing carbon emissions from oil and gas sites, highlighting Eni's readiness and enthusiasm in this area.
