Egypt spends EGP 1.6bn to develop electricity networks in Sinai

Egypt invested a total of EGP 1.60 billion to develop electricity distribution networks in North Sinai during the period from July 2014 until the end of December 2022.

This comes in tandem with the Egyptian President’s directives aimed at raising the efficiency of the electric grid, improving performance to ensure a stable electric supply as per quality standards, and reducing periods of power outages.

The announcement was made by the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy on Sunday.
