Suze Canal University Students’ visit to NWG oilfield of NPIC

North Petroleum International Corporation S.A (NPIC)organized anoilfield visit on 11st Apr. 2019 for 35 college students from Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, Suez University, to NW Gemsa Field of Petro Amir who is Joint Venture Company between EGPC and NPIC. That’s already the 4th time for NPIC to organize this kind of oilfield visit.
By the way,NPIC, awholly owned subsidiary of the China Zhenhuaoil, which is committed to specializingin international oil and gas exploration & production, andZhenHua Oil currentlyoperates 12 oil and gas upstream projects in 7 different countriesincluding Egypt, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Myanmar, Pakistan, Syria and U.A.E.In addition, China ZhenHua Oil has been in operation in Egypt since 2014 and holds interests in the North West Gemsa, East Ghazalat and Alam El Shawish West concessions.
Before the field visit,Dr. Moataz, HSSE GM of PetroAmir, give all students a briefing introduction of HSE precaution based on our HSSE regulation, followed by an actual oil field experience to all students. detailed interpretation are given on site crude oil production, pipeline transportation and processing, through central processing facilitiesby Eng. Sun Bao, Operations GM of PetroAmir. Also Mr. Wang Weiqi, NPIC HSSE Manager, highlighted the firefighting equipment’s in addition to all safety precautions.
“The site visit provided us an excellent opportunity to put us inside Real petroleum industry learning,which can’t be learnt from the college to real visualize, to real touch,and real perception .The most meaningful significance is that all their principles and theories learning from the class correlate a tunnel to the practice,which could significantly improve our operational abilities”, mentioned by all representatives. Also all students expressed their gratitude towards NPIC for their warm welcome and hospitality, stating that upcoming generations within the industry were allowed firsthand experience of their own future in the oilfield.
As committed NPIC will support and organize further visits in the near future if necessary as NPIC treat this as part of Entrepreneur Social Responsibility (ESR) , and they would like to conduct more.
