The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources announced that the fifth edition of the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS) will be held from 14-16 February 2022.

After closely monitoring the COVID-19 global situation and after extensive consultation with key stakeholders, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has taken the decision to not hold EGYPS from 7-9 June 2021.

EGYPS signifies an important event for the oil and gas industry in North Africa and the Mediterranean. The annual event will be held on its original February dateline and will be attended by global industry leaders and exhibiting companies.

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, stated that “EGYPS power to convene global Ministers, CEOs, policy makers and industry leaders in Cairo signifies the Show remains critical in connecting the global oil, gas and energy industry and shaping the future energy agenda.”

He added that “We are confident, with the collective support of our key stakeholders and partners, our sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers of delivering a truly celebratory 5th Anniversary Egypt Petroleum Show in February 2022 and we look forward to announcing our global line-up of keynote speakers and panelists shortly.”

Christopher Hudson, President of DMG Events commented: “As the official international marketing arm and voice of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, our strategy is to ensure EGYPS remains at the very heart of the North African and Mediterranean oil, gas, and energy landscape, driving the opportunities that lead to international partnerships and connectedness to do business.”
